Farm Animals
This is a painting for a 3 year old girl. She wanted a mural on the wall but instead I thought that the best idea would be to paint on a 4'x 3' canvas.
I am using different media to make this painting. I am using oil paint for the animals, acrylic paint for flowers and acyrlic modeling paste to create a 3D contrast. I saw other artist using the acrylic paste and wanted to try using it. The acrylic paste brings out the illusion of depth in the painting. In a way it was a giant leap of faith as i have never done this painting beofre. I don't think I would have been able to paint well but once I started it started to turn out the way I wanted it.
This painting uses a wide variety of techniques. I tried to portray the anmails as realistic but then cartoonish because of their big eyes.
Maternal Grandpa
This is a painting of my grandpa.
He has been wanting a self portrait for the longest time. Finally, I decided to paint the eyes and nose portion of the face. He keeps on sending my pictures in different color outfits and turbans. The picture with yellow turban and outfit is my favorite.
I am using color pen to draw it out first. I have never made family potraits before.
Queen
This is a painting of the queen that I started almost 5 years ago. I never got the chance to work on it until this summer I took it out and started to paint it again. As you can see it is already drawn on the canvas and now it is the matter of finishing the painting
This painting has a great detail going on in the fabric she is wearing which I thought would be very challanging to paint. So far it requires only patience.
I am using acrylic to paint the queen
In Process
This is a painting of me that I started pre-COVID at the art school I attended and never got around to finish it.
I started this painting in September of 2019 after visiting Europe. I had gone to an italian cruise with my parents and extended family where my sister too the picture. I drew out the picture and now I am paiting it.
I am using oil painting
